A heart for North Charleston's families.
I am a wife and a mother of six daughters — all of whom attended and graduated from schools right here in Charleston County District 5. With two sons-in-law and eight grandchildren, family is at the center of everything I do.
I've lived in North Charleston for over 51 years. I'm a veteran of the United States Marine Corps Reserves, a Teacher's Assistant of 16 years in this district, and a children's minister who has served families across our community for more than 25 years.
"If given the chance, I will stand at the gate of the Mountain of Education to guard our children's hearts — so they grow into productive, wise, and successful adults."
